Why You Should Put Green Beans In Your Air Fryer

Air frying is a healthier alternative to deep frying or pan frying any food. But when you cook green beans in the air fryer, they come out crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Cookbook author Samira Kazan of Alpha Foodie says that air-fried green beans also provide a ton of vitamins and nutrients to your plate, so, not only are they delicious, but they're also good for you.
Cooking green beans in an air fryer is easy. Just set your air fryer to 380 degrees, season your green beans with salt, pepper, garlic granules, and a dash of oil, then add them to the basket and cook for eight minutes. Shake the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even browning and to prevent the beans from sticking. Once they're done, remove them from the air fryer and season to taste with any additional salt, pepper, or your favorite seasoning blend. Serve immediately and enjoy as a perfect side dish to a weeknight meal or simply as a healthy snack.
